Black Magic Comics was a Thorpe & Porter licensed reprint for the British market of Prize's Black Magic title. When negative press attention towards American horror comics began to build, Thorpe & Porter relinquished the license, resulting in the Arnold Book Company taking over publication of the title from the twelth issue.
