Doctor Victor Von Doom is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the character made his debut in The Fantastic Four #5 (July 1962). The monarch of the fictional nation of Latveria, Doctor Doom has been portrayed as both a supervillain and antihero, and is most frequently depicted as the archenemy of the Fantastic Four. Doom has come into conflict with other superheroes including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, the X-Men, and the Avengers.
