Yank Year 1959 Magazine Back Issues

Yank, the Army Weekly was a weekly magazine published by the United States military during World War II. One of its most popular features, intended to boost the morale of military personnel serving overseas, was the weekly publication of a pin-up photograph. Published weekly from June 17, 1942 to December 28, 1945 giving the USA edition a total of 184 issues, plus two sample issues. The first YANK magazine printed was an overseas sample issue dated June 6, 1942. The format is 10-1/2" x 14" with 24 pages.
