Deadbeats followed the story of Mystic Grove, a.k.a. Fear City, a town caught in the middle of various supernatural incidents, including two warring vampire factions, the vampire delinquents known as the Deadbeats and the self-styled vampire king, Hermano, and the humans who seek to slay them, most notably Kirby Collier.
