Doctor Doom of the present ends up in the year of 2099, where he soon takes power of first Latveria and later even the United States of America! One of the flagship titles of the 2099 line of books. The series lasted until issue 44, after which it (and many other 2099 titles) were put together in the "2099: World of Tomorrow" series.
