Richie Rich Meets Timmy Time Comic Books

1 issue available
Richie Rich and Timmy Time was a short-lived comic book series published by Harvey Comics in 1977. Only one issue was published, and ended quickly afterwards. The idea of this series may have been inspired by the popularity of movies and television series with time travel and outer space themes, including the then-recently released 'Star Wars', during the 1970s.

The last panel on the last page of the two-part story "The Moon Meteors" was a poll asking readers for feedback on Timmy Time. This was the only time in the history of Richie Rich comics (and maybe Harvey Comics in general) that a story ended midway through a page. While the results of the poll were deemed confidential, it was pretty clear that, based on the fact that the series was discontinued quickly afterwards, the series got negative reviews.

Richard "Richie" $ Rich, Jr. (often stylized as Ri¢hie Ri¢h) is a fictional character in the Harvey Comics universe. He debuted in Little Dot #1, cover-dated September 1953, and was created by Alfred Harvey and Warren Kremer. Dubbed "the poor little rich boy," Richie is the only child of fantastically wealthy parents and is the world's richest kid. So rich, his middle name is a dollar sign, $.

During Harvey Comics' heyday (1950–1982), Richie was the publisher's most popular character, eventually starring in over fifty separate titles, including such long-running comics as Richie Rich, Richie Rich Millions, Richie Rich Dollars and Cents, and Richie Rich Success Stories.
