Mopar Action was published by Harris Publications with its headquarters in New York. Stanley Harris founded the organization in 1977 and published many specialty titles. Like its competitors -- Mopar Muscle, Chrysler Power, and High Performance Mopar -- the magazine focused on all aspects of Mopar performance vehicles including how-to tips, restorations, replacement parts and featured muscle cars.
Harris also produced Street & Strip Supercar. Athlon Media purchased all the titles from Harris in 2016.
