Mayflower was a British carrack with three masts. It is the most famous ship which carried British immigrants to North America. It transported the English Separatists, better known as the Pilgrims, from a site near the Mayflowers Steps in Plymouth, England to Plymouth, Massachusetts. The Mayflower Compact was written and declared on it. |
