Peter Adams is one of the worlds leading travel photographers. He started in business in 1986 working for design studios, advertising agencies and corporate clients.
Gradually concentrating more on travel photography, he won the prestigious Travel Photographer of The Year title in 2003 and was a judge in 2004. In 2006 he was runner up in The Observer ‘Seeds of Change’ photographic competition. In 2010 he won the London Photographic Association's "Let's Face It 6" competition. A series of six portraits.
Over the years, his search for images has taken him to more than a 100 countries. His photographs are regularly seen as poster prints, cards, CD covers and calendars as well as being found in books and magazines such as National Geographic & Geo. His film work has appeared on The National Geographic channel, in TV documentaries and for advertising.
He is represented by Whitewall & Lumas Art galleries (in London, NY, Berlin, Paris, Zurich etc) where his fine art prints are exhibited.
He is author of the book ‘Start Taking Great Holiday Photographs’ and contributes regularly to Digital SLR Photography magazine. Born in London, he is now based on the edge of The Cotswolds. |
